  • Streamlined NFB Access Through NFB Education (Wednesday, September 11, 2024)

The Ministry of Education subscribes to NFB Education (formerly CAMPUS) to provide access to all PreK-12 schools in Saskatchewan. NFB Education features 100% Canadian content, in both English and French. It is available without a login through a link on ROVER (rover.edonline.sk.ca), or on the ministry’s resources.edonline.sk.ca page.

Users will no longer need to create a personal NFB account to access films and associated teacher guides. However, you can sign up for a personal account using your Apple, Google, or Microsoft account to unlock a new "My List" Feature; allowing you to easily create and save a list of your favorite films. Intuitive Sharing makes it easy to share films directly as you would from social media.

The film catalogue has been refreshed to include more new releases from the NFB and features more relevant films for the classroom. See the NFB Education Help Centre for information about the changes to their educational offering (https://help.nfb.ca/article-categories/nfb-education/).

NFB Education offers free webinars to familiarize teachers with the videos and teaching resources available. If you are interested in setting up a webinar for your school or school division, please contact Ross Johnstone at r.johnstone@nfb.ca
